Welcome to our page! We are starting this petition to let the congress and our government officials know how upset we are about the new Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac system. Although don't take this wrong we understand they did the right thing by helping them and not letting the entire system crash. Our problem is that our government is using OUR tax money to pay the CEO's of these two companies, a severnce pay anywhere from 9-14 million dollars...EACH! For one we don't understand why we are the ones paying them when their company is in debt over 5 trillion dollars, and why should they be getting our money when they knowingly ran their company into so much of a decrease it almost crashed! Please help us in our fight against our taxes being used to buy people more luxury items.
